NT parliament approves assisted dying

The Northern Territory has passed voluntary assisted dying laws in a late-night parliamentary sitting.

The Rights of the Terminally Ill Bill was passed, almost 30 years after Canberra overturned the NT’s world-first euthanasia laws.
