‘Now a proper criminal investigation’: Former prince Andrew arrested on his 66th birthday

ITV News Royal Editor Chris Ship details the alleged arrest of former prince Andrew.

“Confirmation from one of our police forces, it’s Thames Valley Police, which is the police force which looks after Windsor, they’ve confirmed this morning that they have made an arrest of a man in his 60’s,” Mr Ship told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Guess whose birthday it is today? Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is 66 years old today.

“He’s been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

“We have to be super careful when it comes to an active police investigation, and a man, the King’s brother, is under arrest.

“It is now a proper criminal investigation.”
