‘Not worth the money at all’: Bowen slammed over request to put COP delegates in luxury hotels
Shadow Energy Minister Dan Tehan says Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s request for up to $4.2 million in taxpayer money to book luxury accommodation in Fiji for his COP delegates is “not worth the money at all”.
“What we can’t understand is why Chris Bowen isn’t focusing on the 244,000 Australians who are now in energy hardship,” Mr Tehan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“What is this pre-COP meeting going to achieve for them?
“Is it going to help them with affordable energy? No.”
