North Korea fires ballistic missile towards East Sea

North Korea has reportedly launched an unidentified projectile toward the East Sea.

That’s according to South Korean media, which is citing the country’s military.

The launch took place as Seoul prepares to participate in joint military drills alongside the US.

South Korea’s military says Pyongyang also fired a short-range missile towards the sea earlier this month.
