Netanyahu says Iranian campaign will ‘continue as long as it is needed’ in address to nation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has addressed the nation in a video statement about the joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran.

“This fateful campaign will continue as long as it is needed,” he said.

“We started in order to end this threat.

“This morning, with a surprising hit, a blow, we hit out at a tyrant, Khamenei. For three decades, he has been sending terror with proxies.

“This tyrant no longer exists. We targeted those at the head of the leadership, of the brotherhood, of the Revolutionary Guard, and all general staff and others.”
