‘Net zero is a lie’: Australians are ‘impoverished’ by Albanese’s ‘poor ideological policies’

Liberal Senator Leah Blyth claims net zero and the transition to green energy is “just a lie”.

“Under net zero, there will be no fertiliser, no agriculture, certainly no heavy transport,” Ms Blyth told Sky News host Rowan Dean.

“We have no replacements for those things without the use of fossil fuels.

“91 per cent of our energy that we need is derived from fossil fuels.

“The world works on fossil fuels.

“It’s about time that Australians stop being impoverished by very poor ideological policies that are meaning that we have basically lost the ability to refine our own fuel.”
