NATO accused of ‘epic failure’ as Trump moves to scale back military support

Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer comments on NATO “epically failing” as an ally as the United States plans to scale back military assets.

“NATO is an organisation that exists without a reason,” Mr Hammer told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“This was a great time for NATO countries and Europe to kind of come to the table … a lot of this affects the Europeans than it effects more than it affects us in the United States.

“They have epically failed us.”
