More Fantastic News | The New Rippaverse/Hachette Deal | GOIN’ Worldwide
Today is a celebration. Rippaverse Publishing has officially signed a worldwide sales and distribution agreement with Hachette Book Group, one of the largest book publishers in the United States and part of Hachette Livre, the third-largest trade and educational publisher in the entire world. The deal goes into effect July 6, 2026.
What this means is that Rippaverse titles — both our flagship shared universe and RippaSend creator-owned books — will be available in Target, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, independent bookstores, and libraries across the United States and Canada. We’re joining a third-party publisher roster that includes Abrams, Chronicle Books, Yen Press, Lonely Planet, and Nosy Crow.
Four years ago we launched Isom #1 with a $3.7 million pre-order campaign and no industry infrastructure behind us. No major publisher. No distributor. No external investors. Just a direct-to-consumer operation built from scratch. Since then we’ve published dozens of titles across multiple creative teams, surpassed $15 million in total sales, and built a fanbase that showed up for us when nobody in the mainstream would.
This deal is the next evolution of what we’ve been building. It does not replace our direct-to-consumer operation — Rippaverse.com is not going anywhere. That relationship with our core audience is the backbone of this company and always will be. The Hachette partnership sits on top of what we already do, opening an entirely new channel to reach readers who shop at bookstores, browse at Target, or discover comics at their local library.
To everyone who’s been with us from the beginning — this doesn’t happen without you. Today we celebrate. Pull up, hang out, and let’s talk about what comes next.
