Melbourne Crown Casino workers to strike on NYE

Workers at Melbourne’s Crown Casino will go on strike tonight on New Year’s Eve.

Up to 500 employees are poised to walk off work from 10 pm AEST after pay negotiations broke down.

Crown says it will hire temporary workers to minimise the impact for tonight.
