Medical event occurs on International Space Station, four astronauts to evacuate

ANU Astrophysicist and Cosmologist Dr Brad Tucker says a medical event has occurred aboard the International Space Station, prompting an evacuation.

“There’s a crew of four … it could be any of the four astronauts on crew 11, so even though NASA has made this decision, they’re responsible for the entire crew,” Dr Tucker told Sky News Australia.

“We do know the issue wasn’t so serious that they had to evacuate immediately.”
