Mamdani under fire for alleged failure to aid homeless during ‘deadly’ snowstorm

Sky News host James Morrow criticises New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani for failing to support the homeless during the city’s snowstorm.

“I grew up in New York City … when the government changes and when policy is dialled in, you feel the results on the streets almost immediately,” Mr Morrow said.

“We saw this again with these new deadly low temperatures in New York City, data has revealed that 96 per cent of pleas to help homeless people through a special hotline never actually led to any assistance.

“This is a real crisis of government stuff from supposedly a Democrat socialist who supposedly wants to help the poorest of the poor.”
