‘Listen to your wife’: Barack Obama’s politicking causing ‘genuine tension’ in his marriage

Newsweek Senior Editor-At-Large Josh Hammer says former US president Barack Obama’s “politicking” has caused genuine tension in his marriage to Michelle Obama.

“The guy just won’t go away … he’s admitted, Barack Obama’s admitted, that his constant politicking is causing ‘genuine tension’ in his marriage to Michelle,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“I don’t think it’s helping his party very much … Barack Obama was the number one campaign surrogate for the Harris-Waltz ticket in 2024.”
