Clancy juror Nick Dargie says the lone holdout wrapped an exercise band around an empty water bottle and pulled it during deliberations. Dargie said the demonstration shocked him and accused the holdout of failing to cite evidence supporting his position. The account comes after the jury split 11–1 and the judge declared a mistrial, but it remains Dargie’s description of private deliberations and the unidentified holdout has not publicly responded.
