‘Lied to our nation’: Veterans advocate launches explosive attack on Matt Keogh

Fair Care for Veterans John Armfield accuses Veterans Affairs Minister Matt Keogh of misleading veterans, Parliament and the Australian public over his handling of the veterans’ community.

“The only thing I’ve heard Minister Keogh say that’s the truth this week is that the situation that I found myself in was tragic and terrible,” Mr Armfield told News24 host Peta Credlin.

“Minister Keogh is not only lying to himself, he’s not only lying to me; he’s now lied to the floor of parliament, he’s now lied to the prime minister, he’s now lied to our nation.

“Minister Keogh does not even have the integrity to be honest with those who elected Minister Keogh and those who pay his salary.”
