John Fetterman makes jaw-dropping gaffe when questioned about political future

US Senator John Fetterman saw a crowd erupt into laughter following a hilarious gaffe during a speaking event over the weekend.

On Saturday, Fetterman accidentally called himself a “lifelong Republican” despite being a member of the Democratic Party.

Fetterman made the remarks during an appearance at the Texas Tribune Festival after being asked why he doesn’t run as an independent.

Earlier in the event, Fetterman ruled out joining the Republican Party, arguing that he has “no path as a Republican”.
