Joe Biden battles Justice Department to keep recordings and classified files secret

“The former president Joe Biden is suing the US Justice Department to prevent the release of personal recordings which are due to be made public before the end of next month,” Ms Power said.

“So, they were obtained during an investigation into the former president’s handling of classified documents.

“The recordings involve interviews between Joe Biden and the ghost writer of his memoir and are believed to contain details about his memory and his cognitive decline.”
