Jim Chalmers denies broken promise claims after grilling from Sky News host

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the Albanese government hasn’t broken a promise on property tax changes.

Mr Chalmers said the Albanese government has just “changed our policy” on the issue.

“I think the most important thing is that people understand that we don’t take these decisions lightly.”
