‘It’s great to be your President’: Trump celebrates America’s ‘magnificent triumph’

US President Donald Trump says America is the most successful and accomplished nation “ever to exist in human history” on the eve of the 250th Independence Day.

“Never before has any nation celebrated so magnificent a triumph as this one,” Mr Trump said.

“It’s great to be your President.”
