‘It’s a fantastic day’: Farmer reacts to Coalition scrapping regional renewable project

Farmer Ben Duxson reacts to the Coalition scrapping the renewables project if elected, marking a win for regional farmers who were set to have their livelihoods affected.

“It’s a fantastic day. It’s taken a lot of work, been a lot of people behind the scenes, and we started the Farmers FightBack for the very reason that we weren’t being heard,” Mr Duxson told News24 host Peta Credlin.

“We weren’t being heard federally; we weren’t being heard in the state.”
