Iranian embassy rejects link to RAF Fairford arrests | BBC News

The Iranian embassy in London says it ‘categorically rejects’ speculation linking the country to the arrests of five men near RAF Fairford, a key US air base used to launch bombing raids on Iran.

Police say the men — held on Sunday on suspicion of terror offences — were all UK nationals living in London.

They’ve been released on bail. Counter-terrorism police continue to investigate whether the incident has any links to Iran.
