Iran’s top negotiator warns of “a faster, heavier, and more painful response” to US attacks, after the sides traded strikes in the Strait of Hormuz.

It comes as Iran’s security chief says Tehran will announce a prohibited zone outside the Strait of Hormuz in the coming days, saying any ship entering the area will be added to a sanctions list.
