Iran Can’t Take Part In U.S. World Cup Amid War, Country’s Sports Minister Says

Iran’s Sports Minister Ahmad Donyamali told state television on Wednesday that the country “can’t” participate in this summer’s North America FIFA World Cup due to the U.S.’ assassination of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah ‌Ali Khamenei and ongoing “malicious actions.”
