Immigration remains a key ‘bread-and-butter issue’ as UK voters demand competence
Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says immigration remains a “bread-and-butter issue” in the UK, driving voters to look elsewhere for a competent government.
“This is the bread-and-butter issue: immigration … we have seen a ridiculous intake of immigrants, both legal and illegal, in the last few years,” Ms Krakue told Sky News Political Contributor Chris Uhlmann.
“To pretend like there are no deep underlying issues with this or the fact that this is going to be radically transformative for a country that hasn’t seen this level of immigration ever in its history is completely disingenuous.
“There is no competent government to be found, and rest assured, people will look elsewhere because this is getting out of hand.”
