ICE director Todd Lyons to resign at the end of May

The director of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency has announced he will step down from his position at the end of May.

Acting ICE director Todd Lyons worked in the federal agency for nearly two decades.

The resignation comes as lawmakers fight over the funding for the Department of Homeland Security.
