‘Hybrid warfare’: UK terror suspects accused of being pawns for Iran
Former UK MP Adam Holloway warns the five suspects may have been recruited online without knowing who they were ultimately working for.
“The base was used as a forward operating base for bombing Iran in recent months,” Mr Holloway told News24 host Peta Credlin.
“It’s quite possible that these five suspects, who insanely have been veiled, didn’t even know who they were working for.
“This is the new hybrid warfare whereby people are recruited online.
“Quite realistic that these young men had no idea what they were doing apart from straightforward criminality.”
