Hundreds of lights were animated for KPop Demon Hunters’ concert scene

For KPop Demon Hunters’ concert scene, Sony Pictures Imageworks were able to animate hundreds of lights and easily export them with a custom plugin via USD into Katana. The team were able to preserve the animation form UE for the lights in Katana, removing the need for thousands of extra frames and a surplus of data.
