Hundreds of civilians displaced as Hezbollah drags Lebanon into another conflict

Hundreds of people have been displaced in Lebanon as Israel carries out strikes on Hezbollah targets in the capital, Beirut.

The US embassy in Beirut has been closed as a result.

Israel’s military has also launched a ground operation in southern Lebanon, moving to secure new strategic positions.
