🎬 Director’s Statement:
Hivemind Deluxe probes how our longing to belong can be weaponized in a propaganda-rich climate. I was sparked by witnessing people I love slide into ideologies shaped by social media algorithms and partisan news outlets. Framed as an alien abduction, the film asks if our need to belong make us vulnerable to powers eager to manage what we believe? Also, aliens are fun!
I’m happy if viewers are entertained and unsettled; and leave with a simple question, “Are my sources informing me… or managing me?”
