Global energy crisis could deepen as US blockade on Iran takes shape

Strategic Analysis Australia Director Michael Shoebridge weighs in on the US blockade to be set up in the Strait of Hormuz.

“I think we are back on the path of escalation and return to active conflict because … the US is making a bunch of demands on Iran that Iran has no intention of meeting,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News host Caleb Bond.

“This blockade of Iranian oil exports will only worsen the global energy crisis.”
