‘Functioning economy’: Trump launches Board of Peace with billions for Gaza rebuild

Wall Street Journal Editor-at-Large Gerard Baker says US President Donald Trump is launching his Board of Peace with billions pledged for Gaza to rebuild the foundations of a “functioning economy”.

“The way forward is not some elusive political solution to a two-state approach; what’s needed is hard cash,” Mr Baker told Sky News host James Morrow.

“That will mean a more stable Gaza … living side by side with Israel in peace.”
