Former US vice president Dick Cheney dead at 84
Former US Republican vice president Dick Cheney has died at age 84.
He served more than 50 years in public service, where he became known as a skilled political strategist.
As one of George Bush’s right-hand men, he claimed the title of one of the most divisive figures to hold office.
According to his family, Mr Cheney passed away from complications due to pneumonia, along with cardiac and vascular disease.
