Former FBI agent claims AI makes military ‘smarter’ and ‘safer’

Former FBI supervisory special agent Ren McEachern says AI “makes a military smarter and safer” as Google faces backlash from its staff members who are concerned about the deployment of AI for military use.

“[AI] really makes sure the targets are not involving people that are collateral damage,” Mr McEachern told News24 host James Morrow.

“It’s actually a safer, smarter way to operate.”
