Federal immigration enforcement surge in Minnesota to end

US border czar Tom Homan has announced the federal immigration enforcement surge in Minnesota will end.

Mr Homan confirmed he would stay in the state to oversee the withdrawal.

This follows widespread protests in the wake of two fatal shootings at the hands of ICE agents.
