Fatal head-on collision claims seven lives on English highway

Seven people, including two police officers, have died in a head-on collision in England.

Authorities report that a sedan carrying five people was travelling in the wrong direction on a major highway near Middlesbrough when it collided with a police car.

All five civilians and both officers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident comes after two similar crashes in Ireland involving vehicles reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road for social media purposes.
