‘Extremely broken’: Britain’s asylum system accused of handing economic migrants a free pass

Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue warns Britain’s broken asylum system is allowing people she describes as economic migrants to exploit the system and remain in the country.

“We already know that our asylum system is extremely broken,” Ms Krakue told News24 host Chris Kenny.

“It’s allowing people like this, all of whom basically are economic migrants- let’s not be naive about that- to take advantage of the system.”
