Dune 3 Trailer May Be Lying About Chani
Dune 3 Trailer: Is Chani Really Betraying Paul? The final Dune: Part Three trailer teases a shocking betrayal involving Zendaya’s Chani, Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides, and a conspiracy that could bring down the Emperor. But is the trailer telling us the truth?
In this Screen Rant breakdown, we’re putting the Dune 3 trailer through a lie detector to separate genuine reveals from possible misdirection. Chani appears to be working against Paul, but Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah may be hiding a much bigger twist.
We examine why Princess Irulan’s accusation might not be trustworthy, how Robert Pattinson’s mysterious Face Dancer Scytale complicates the conspiracy, and why Chani’s decision to walk away in Dune: Part Two changes everything.
We’ll also explore the biggest Dune Messiah book differences, including Paul and Chani’s children, the possibility of Paul losing his prescience, and what those changes could mean for the trilogy’s ending.
Plus, does the action-packed trailer accurately represent the movie, or is Villeneuve preparing a darker political thriller about power, loyalty, and betrayal?
From the Dune Part Three trailer clues to Chani’s possible fate, we’re breaking down what the footage reveals, what it hides, and why Paul may be the real villain of this story.
Do you think Chani is secretly working with the conspirators, or is someone setting her up?
