Donald Trump moving away from international ‘rules-based order’

University of Otago Department of Politics Professor Robert Patman claims US President Donald Trump is moving away from an international “rules-based order”.

“That’s been a pattern of Trump’s second term in the White House,” Mr Patman told Sky News Australia.

“Mr Trump made it quite clear he has little time for international law or international institutions unless they work in the interest of America first.”
