Donald Trump confirms Katie Zacharia as new White House press secretary

Conservative commentator Katie Zacharia has been selected as the next White House press secretary.

She will replace Karoline Leavitt, who resigned from the role at the end of August.

Katie Zacharia currently works as a communications advisor for Trump Media & Technology Group.

The 42-year-old was confirmed in the role by US President Donald Trump.
