‘Disgusting’: Former veterans’ affairs minister appeals directly to Albanese over healthcare cut

Former NSW veterans affairs minister David Elliot criticises Veterans’ Affairs Minister Matt Keogh for capping allied health care at $5000.

“Apparently for Labor’s minister Matt Keogh, a cap is exactly what is in order to manage his budget,” Mr Elliot said.

“Only his cap is on the benefits offered to the very men and women he’s sworn to serve.

“The men and women of the Australian Defence Force have now got a new enemy. But this time it’s in the form of their very own government.”
