Desperate Cuba will come crawling back to US amid economic turmoil

Political journalist John Fund believes that the US and Cuban government will eventually have to create a “business arrangement” that will be able to prevent the “collapse” of Cuba’s economy.

“I do think where we’re heading is a complete collapse of the Cuban economy, and that will finally tell them they’re going to have to have some kind of modus vivendi with the United States,” Mr Fund told News24 host James Morrow.

“I think that the Cubans are going to have to have a business arrangement with the United States in which we finally allow some oil to enter the country.”
