Democrats are turning committee hearings into ‘clown shows’: Rubio grilled for his shoes

Center of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says the Democrats are turning committee hearings into “clown shows”.

Marco Rubio appeared before the Foreign Affairs Committee and was not asked about policy or the state of the country; instead, he was berated about his shoes.

“Democrats have turned these committee hearings into clown shows,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News host James Morrow.

“They don’t ask the witness questions; they give speeches for five minutes … they go off on crazy tangents.”
