Democrat immigration lawyer brands probe into Ilhan Omar ‘mean-spirited’

Immigration lawyer Michael Wildes says the probe into Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is “mean-spirited”.

“Truthfully, if she is a risk, I want to know it. If she isn’t, you don’t want to undermine the confidence that we have with people that we may just simply disagree with,” Mr Wildes told News24 host Elizabeth Pipko.

“I don’t want anyone to undermine or lose confidence in our major institutions.”
