Confusion as to why Trump is negotiating with Iran instead of responding militarily

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says he does not understand why US President Donald Trump is negotiating with the Iranians and claims the US should respond militarily if the Strait of Hormuz is blocked.

“I don’t really understand what Trump is trying to negotiate for, my own opinion is that we should forget about negotiations,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News host James Macpherson.

“If Iran tried to attack a ship or block the Strait of Hormuz, we should respond militarily, for example, by blowing up a power plant or a bridge. I think that would be much more effective.”
