Coalition remains ‘very optimistic’ despite One Nation surge

Shadow Assistant Treasurer Kevin Hogan claims he is “very optimistic” about the Coalition’s future despite One Nation’s growing popularity.

“We certainly acknowledge that One Nation have gained a lot of support over the last five or six months and we need to reflect on that,” Mr Hogan told Sky News Australia.

“I’m very optimistic about the Coalition. I think we have a journey, and I think we need time to rebuild some faith and trust in us.

“I am optimistic about our future.”
