‘Clearly just political’: Coalition blasted over ‘unrealistic’ migration numbers

News24 Political Editor Andrew Clennell weighs in on whether the Coalition’s new migration policy is realistic amid labour shortages.

Mr Clennell describes the Coalition’s move as “clearly just political”, claiming “no one would disagree” with reducing the number of bridging visa holders.

“It’s very simple to come out with these numbers, but when you start digging into the detail of it, it starts to look less achievable,” he told News24.

“Why are you so paranoid about One Nation that you keep playing into this space?”
