‘Clearly favouring the rich’: EV distribution highlights income divide in green transition

Sky News host James Macpherson reacts to an EV distribution map in Sydney released by the Sydney Morning Herald.

“The Sydney Morning Herald posted this map showing Sydney suburbs with the most and the least EVs, and it appears there’s a higher concentration of EVs in the wealthier north and eastern suburbs,” Mr Macpherson said.

“Who would’ve guessed?

“Here’s the irony to me of the renewable transition, it’s supposed to make everything cheaper, but it’s clearly favouring the rich.”
