Carroll promises expanded police powers if re-elected in November

Victoria Premier Ben Carroll promises to legislate Jack’s Law if he’s re-elected in November.

The proposed laws would allow police officers to stop and search for weapons anywhere at any time, as opposed to currently needing to be in designated areas.
