‘BROKEN CHEEKBONE’: Journalist recalls violent attack at a protest

Citizen journalist Wesley Winter discusses the severe facial injuries he suffered while covering a protest back in May by alleged Antifa activists.

“The left can be more violent than ever,” Mr Winter told News24 host Samara Gill.

“It’s these left-leaning protesters who do make the first move and who are willing to do whatever it takes to get their own way.

“I ended up suffering a broken cheekbone … and still have some permanent damage from it.”
