Bondi attack shows a ‘massive security failure’ after alleged gunmen were known to ASIO

Sky News host Chris Kenny claims there is “no sense” of a security issue in the Bondi royal commission interim report.

“If this event had happened from people that had never been known to our security agencies previously, it would be a security failure,” Mr Kenny said.

“But the fact that the alleged gunmen were both investigated by ASIO … and they were still able to carry out this attack, it shows it’s a massive security failure.”
