Bomb-laden drone at German airport signals Russia’s violent expansion

A drone equipped with bombs found at Leipzig airport in Germany sparks concern for Russia’s intention on expanding its war with Ukraine into other countries.

News24 Defence Analyst Peter Jennings says, “they need to look at the security of their airports”.

“Russia is, in some respects, intent on expanding this war with Ukraine into other countries. Things like infrastructure security, airport security they’re all going to have to look urgently at how they can do those things more effectively.”
